It seems like singer Rihanna can’t catch a break from the Parents Television  Council. Just a couple of weeks ago, she caught major criticism for her ‘S&M’ duet performance with Britney Spears, and today the group has spoken  out against her newest music video, ‘Man Down’ because they claim she’s  advocating “cold, calculated execution of murder.”

In the video, Rihanna shoots and kills a rapist, and after the video was  released she tweeted that it had “a very strong underlying message 4 girls like  me.”

The tweet further upset the organization, who claimed that if Chris Brown  were to make a video that paralleled the message of Rihanna’s it would never see  the light of day:

If Chris Brown shot a woman in his new video and BET premiered it, the world  would stop. Rihanna should not get a pass I know Chris Brown is somewhere thinking, ‘Why does my name have to be  brought up in this?

Do you think that the parents television council  has a point, or are they overreacting?
